Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Aqaba Port – Wadi Rum (D)
Arrive at Aqaba Port, where our representative welcomes and assists you. Then you drive to the magnificent desert of Wadi Rum, made famous by Lawrence of Arabia. Explore the beauty of the area with its mountains, canyons and pastell colored san dunes. Be invited to a Bedouin tent and drink a traditional tea with mint. Then you will be transferred to your Camp in Wadi Rum. You will have here a Barbecue at night during watching the starry sky and spend the night in a tent.
Day 02: Wadi Rum – Petra (B)
After breakfast we head for the rock city Petra, the marvel of Jordan. If you like ride a short way on horseback, then continue by feet through the 1,2 km long Siq, a narrow gorge, until the beautiful Treasury “El Khazna”. Walk along the Street of Facades to the Theater, the Royal Tombs and Qasr Al Bint. In the afternoon transfer to your hotel in Petra for overnight.
Day 03: Petra – Shobak – Dana village – Petra (B)
Today we drive in northern direction to the Crusader castle Shobak with its impressing interior and a well leading more than 350 stairs down in the earth. The trip takes us then to Dana village, a 400 years old Bedouin settlement surrounded by mountains and valleys. You can stroll in the village and enjoy the amazing views over this impressing landscape, one of Jordan’s ambitious eco projects. Return to Amman hotel for overnight.
Day 04: Petra – Aqaba Port (B)
After a leisure morning in Petra, you will be driven back to Aqaba, where you have some time for duty free shopping. Then catch the ferry back to Egypt.
